I have decided to continue the Cup of Coffee Fantasy Baseball League. All past members will be invited to continue with this non-keeper league. The goal is to have players valued similarily to how a real GM values the player.
Offensive Stats will be OBP, SLG, R, RBI, HR and SB (minus CS if added) Pitching Stats will be W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, K/BB (I am pondering replacing W with Quality Start so that team offense would be less important than the pitcher's ability, and if Saves+Holds is allowed I WILL add that) Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CF, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL (Min 30 IP a week) Roster Balance is 10 offense, 9 pitchers, 4 bench and two DL which should lead to slightly better FA and Waiver guys being available. 14 to 16 teams from the MLB universe, done head to head and with an automated draft by yahoo. Priority entry to those who participated last year, and then open to any other FanHome members. (Non Members from last year can respond here and let me know if you are interested) Not a single person contacted me to claim their prize from last year so I'm going to change how that is done. An AllStar Break winner, a "most improved" and an overall winner and that's it. Prize will be a 10$ Starbucks card from my own pocket to your mailbox.

No, its more a combination of my two passions - Coffee and Baseball. I didn't name the league that until year two, which is why this will be league year 3/4. Also I still intend to give a prize, TIMBER. After the snowstorm, can we get in touch. You get one again. I used to mail the coffee but then garstar/Jim Potable won some prizes and I'm not shipping to Japan again.

So far I've got me, goose, timberwolf, phredmojo, Jim Potable, MrMitra and my best man (he doens't use the boards, but he's my Best Man, so he gets in)
That's 7 who have played before so far. 14 last year, but am willing to go 16 if those six think the small changes in roster size would allow two new teams. This is not a keeper league, just a handful of managers that play by generally the same rules every year. Yes, it is yahoo. No it is NOT A LIVE DRAFT. In the past we have stretched from Japan to Florida, from NYC to PHX. My invites for new members will be at my own discretion. Posters I have known on these forums for a long period of time are more likely to get the invite. Posters I don't know who are amazing have a bedir than average chance as well.
