About time for another update.
NY Yankees: Kyle Farnsworth has become next in line. Detroit: Fernando Rodney and Joel Zumaya have finally return from the DL. Minnesota: Jesse Crain has become Next in Line. Oakland: Santiago Casilla has return from the DL. Texas: C.J. Wilson Job Stability has down graded to Short Leash for he hasn't pitched all that well and there has been talk about the possablity of losing the Closer job. Atlanta: Closer Rafael Soriano has gone on the DL again and Mike Gonzalez finally Come off the DL and is the fill-in closer for Soriano. Milwaukee: Salomon Torres has gained enough Job Stability to remain Closer at Eric Gagne Return from DL. |

fair enough question. By my understanding is Putz is still the Closer and he'll almost certainly return to the role when he is ready to come off the DL.
But with seattle you are right to question what goes on and I wouldn't rule out a Trade unless there is something more serious wrong with Putz that could keep him out longer then they are thinking that could scare off other teams. Not saying there is but you never know. But I'll trust once he comes back he'll be back and closing and if a Trade does happen I'm sure it will be to a team that wants him to close for them. |

Tampa Bay: Troy Percival on the DL and Dan Wheeler is the fill-in Closer. Texas: C.J. Wilson has done quit well sence there was talk of removing him as closer and there is no longer of losing the closer job soon so I upgranded his Job Stability ranking to Low. Washington: Chad Cordero is officaly gone for the season and the fill-in tag comes off Jon Rauch and I have giving him a Job Stability ranking of High for he has done just as good of a job as any top closer in the league and there is no danger of losing the closers job. Chicago: I've upgranded the Job Stability ranking to high for Kerry Wood for there is no sign of decline in him that I thought was possable early in the season and I'm thinking the possabilty of him losing the Job is any time soon is if only he get injuried and there is no resend to even think that would happen. Milwaukee: Eric Gagne has return from the DL and is Next in Line. St Louis: Jason Isringhausen also return and is Next in Line Arizona: Tony Peņa has replaced Chad Qualls as next in line. |

For yet another Update. Baltimore: Chris Ray is likely now out for the Season so the isn't much Danger of George Sherrill losing Job soon but the way he has pitch of late he has to do better to keep the job for the rest of the year. Chicago: Closer Bobby Jenks landed onto the DL and Scott Linebrink took over as the fill-in closer but after 2 Blown Saves Octavio Dotel become the closer in Jenks place. Cleveland: The Indians released Joe Borowski and Masahide Kobayashi become the Closer but his Job Stability ranking is at Short Leash for he is the worst of the 3 option and the Indians could make another change at some point. Detroit: I have lowered Todd Jones Job Stability to Short Leash for manager Jim Leyland said "I'm just going to watch him closely and maybe start using somebody else a little bit from time to time." witch means that Joel Zumaya who hold the title of Future Closer for a long time may soon be losing it. Pune intended. Los Angeles: Francisco Rodriguez Job Stability ranking lowered to Moderate for his control problem doesn't seem to be going away. Seattle: Brandon Morrow might keep the Closer Job when Putz returns but it isn't a sure thing yet. Atlanta: It is a sure Co-Closer option for the Braves when Rafael Soriano returns from the DL Florida: Kevin Gregg Job Stability to Short Leash for he just isn't displaying the skills to hold down the closer role. Philladelphia: Tom Gordon the Backup has gone onto the DL. Milwaukee: Guillermo Mota is no longer next up for his pitching hasn't been good enough to even be trusted. Pittsburgh: Matt Capps is out atless 6 Weeks and Damaso Marte is now Closer. St Louis: Jason Isringhausen has moved into a Co-Closer with Ryan Franklin. Los Angeles: Takashi Saito is also out 6 Weeks and Future Closer Jonathan Broxton finaly gets his chance and should be interesting on Saito return in September. In your opinion, what is the Job Stability for Salomon Torres, Brewers' closer.
I know Gagne is comming back anytime soon, is Torres going to keep his job? I have him in my fantasy team and he has done a decent job as a closer. Thanks!!!

I would expect Gagne to take it back at some points but if that be a month from now or week from now or next Save chance to come up I can't tell you.
But the Talk off the Rumor mill is that the Brewers might be in the Market for Huston Street who would move into the Closer job if that happens. So there is a chance there could be a change there around there No Waivers Trade Deadline at the end of the month. |

We had a few closer return from the DL. Tampa Bay's Troy Percival and White Sox Bobby Jenks and they have return to Closers Role. Also Seattle's J.J. Putz return but they deside to stick with Brandon Morrow as there Closer for a little longers. |

Washington has Traded Jon Rauch to Arizonia But it is still unknown if he becomes closer or if Brandon Lyon will remain for the time being
Also the Washington Closer spot is wide open too where it could end up being one of 3 guys. |
