645, they announced committee, but I'm hoping you are right.

Odd, I listened to the press conference. McLaren said "closer by committee"

Well, Teams offen talk about using a committee but rearly end up using it.

What most likely is team go to the one guy most likely to do the best first witch is lowe and they offen get a save so they go to them a 2nd time and a 3rd and before you know it they end it before it even starts.

So it might be but the chances are he will get most of the saves.

Exclamation Closer Update

It's been about a week and half sence I've updated this. And there have been a few changes.

Atlanta: Braves Closer Rafael Soriano hit the DL last Wednesday and Peter Moylan become the Closer and Manny Acosta was called up from the minors and is next up.

Detroit: Fernando Rodney was next up hit the DL and Denny Bautista is now Next Up

Minnesota: Pat Neshek move up past Matt Guerrier as next in line.

Philadelphia: Brad Lidge has return from the DL and is now the Closer.

Toronto: B.J. Ryan comes off the DL and moves into the Closer role but with Ryan returning from Tommy John surgery they Blue Jays want to be curefull with him and they don't want to over use him early on and when there are Save chances number days in a row that Jeremy Accardo will get a few of those.

Washington: Chad Cordero has also return but it might be wise to hold on to Jon Rauch on the off chance that he's isn't completely healthy.

Exclamation Closer Update

We had a few Closers go on the DL today.

Joe Borowski in Cleveland as Rafael Betancourt clearly will the Fill-In Closer there.

And in Atlanta Peter Moylan who was filling in for the Injured Rafael Soriano hit the DL himself and Manny Acosta likely going to have to fill in for the lack of options.

Exclamation Closer Update

Another up for I don't enough.

Baltimore: I changed George Sherrill Job Stability from Short Leash to Low for although he hasn't done all that great but no one else is doing better and there isn't a treat there.

Detroit: Todd Jones also go from short Leash to Low for the 2 Pitchers that could take the job from him are on the DL

Kansas City: Leo Nunez has moved ahead of Yasuhiko Yabuta as next in line.

Oakland: Santiago Casilla outstanding April has moved him ahead of Alan Embree as next in line.

Seattle: J.J. Putz has return from the DL sence my last update and is back as closer.

Texas: C.J. Wilson has been changed to High for he is doing a very good job and there is no treat of him losing the Closer job as long as he keeps it up.

Atlanta: John Smoltz is added to the Closer watch for it is likely that he and Rafael Soriano will be Co-Closer when the two of them return from there injuries.

Washington: Chad Cordero is back on the DL and Jon Rauch is the fill-in Closer again.

Chicago: Kerry Wood has blown a few Saves but Lou Piniella is still giving him the benefit of the doubt and I changed him from Short Leash to Low for he should remain Closer for still awhile.

Cincinnati: Francisco Cordero has change from Moderate to High for he has get the job done and hasn't blown a save yet.

Milwaukee: Guillermo Mota is Next in Line now.

St Louis: Jason Isringhausen has been downgraded to Moderate for his pitching as been far from perfect.

Arizona: Brandon Lyon has been upgraded to Low from Short Leash for he has done an Alright job and it should give him some job security for now.

Colorado: Brian Fuentes Has replace Manny Corpas as Closer but expect the Rockies to give it back to Corpas once he gets his game in order.

Exclamation Closer Update

New York: LaTroy Hawkins has been downgraded to Setup man for the Yankees and Ross Ohlendorf with Jonathan Albaladejo are the Co-Next in Line of the Depth Chart.

Tampa Bay: Dan Wheeler good play has moved him ahead of Al Reyes on the Depth Chart and is now Next in Line.

Cincinnati: David Weathers the Reds #2 has been Placed on the DL.

Exclamation Closer Update

5/10/08

Alright for another Update.

Toronto: THe Bluejays #2 Jeremy Accardo has gone on the DL and Jesse Carlson and Scott Downs hold down the #2 Spot.

Kansas City: Ramon Ramirez has pitch his way into a co-seat with Leo Nunez as the Team #2.

Minnesota: Twins have lost there #2 Pat Neshek for the Season and Matt Guerrier with Juan Rincon are the teams options at #2 now.

Atlanta: Nothing Changed but I've learned that John Smoltz and Rafael Soriano is expected to return about the same time at the end of the month and the about the Co-Closer between them at the Return it will be Smoltz as the first option and if there is Save chances on Back to Back Days it will be Soriano closing that secound day for the Braves don't want Smoltz going on back to back days.

Cincinnati: David Weathers has return from the DL and is next in line again.

Milwaukee: I drown graded Eric Gagne Job Stability ranking to Low for the speculation that has gone around him this past week and if he don't start pitching better it might get worse and maybe to the point where it forces the Brewers hand.

St Louis: The Cardinals has replace struggling Closer Jason Isringhausen and Ryan Franklin has become the Cardinals Closer.

Arizona: I have upgraded Brandon Lyon Job Stability Ranking to Moderate for he may hold the job for awhile even if he starts to struggle.

Colorado: I also have upgraded Brian Fuentes Job Stability Ranking to Moderate for Manny Corpas still hasn't come around and he maybe good for awhile.

San Diego: Trevor Hoffman downgraded to Moderate for his pitching has been far from Perfect though there isn't a chance of him losing the job yet.

The Brewers has removed Eric Gagne from the Closer Role. But it is unknown who will be steping in. Guillermo Mota is the best beat but it was Salomon Torres who got the Save today.

In the National League.

Atlanta: John Smoltz return from the DL moved into the closer role, blow a save and then was lost for the season. Rafael Soriano is now the Closer returning from the DL too.

Chicago: Kerry Wood still doing a very good Job and has been upgraded to Moderate in the Job Stability Ranking.

Milwaukee: Eric Gagne had regain the Closer role before going on the DL. Salomon Torres has fill-in but there has been talk that Torres might keep the job once Gagne returns but it is too early to tell.

St Louis: I have lowered Ryan Franklin Job Stability ranking to Short Leash for he hasn't done all that great.
