Grandy,
I was hoping someone would say Jim Jones. It seems that if you can get hundreds of people to kill themselves along with you, you must be pretty damned persuasive.

Tyler,
That would have made the movie inordinately long, don't you think? 3 hours is a bit much for a strict action movie.

Top 5 Beer Commercials:
- Tastes Great/Less Filling (the original)
- Uecker doing "I must be in the front row!"
- The original Budweiser frogs ad
- I'm sorry, but I loved the "Whazzaaaaap!" guys....at least the first ad.
- It's radio only, but the "Real Men of Genius" series is great.

Top 5 Commercials That Piss You Off Because You Personally Know the Product is Total Crap.

Nah. Really wouldn't have to be any longer than it was. The six minute scene I linked summed things up pretty nicely. Throw in a few process scenes where McClane is scapegoated and a 'some time later' subtitle, and it would have fit perfectly. Leave the theater satisfied, with no need for a PG-13 sequel for a Michael Bay wannabe to eff up.

Jesus and Mohammad have managed to get hundreds of thousands of followers to not only kill themselves, but also kill others and accept being killed by others. Jones is a piker compared to them.

Grandy,
Yes, but not when they were alive. Once said person is gone, it's hard to distinguish if it is them or the implementation of their legacy by their followers that does the doin'. I guess Mohammed oversaw some of the early forced conversions to Islam, but I'd have to plead ignorance to that one.

Also, Wohlers probably fits your list better than Rocker. Rocker had more of an off-season & general meltdown than one defining catastrophe. Ask Jim ^$#@# Leyritz. Grrrr....

Tyler,
Looks like you, too are waiting in fear for what's about to happen to the Die Hard franchise.

Bighead,
That was a total cop-out, amigo.

Nanwynn,
A purposeful omission of Tinkers-Evers-Chance? I know they were overrated, but still!

The reviews have been good, not for the reasons why 'Die Hard' was so great. I might still see it, but I'm going to pretend it has nothing to do with the original or 'Vengeance.' Just like I do with 'Die Hard 2.'

Noc: The Hornsby trio was better; and yes, they were overrrated.
