Behind the treasures is an army of misery, the leading offender probably being the excrutiatingly vapid "Three's Company" song. The loud playing of "The Brady Bunch" theme could be used in psyops situations like the Branch Davidian standoff. "Then Came Maude" sounded to me like some self written "Hey! Welcome To My Groovy Swinging Show" fanfare by a Reno lounge singer. The largest category is the blah, those themes that had no sticking power good or bad. Does anyone remember the theme from shows like "T.J. Hooker" or "Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea" or "Walker: Texas Ranger" or "My Mother The Car?" |

Were there any shows in which the theme song was so good, it actually carried the show, which was otherwise undeserving of fame, fortune, or a lengthy run? "Spongebob Squarepants" comes to mind.
