Obviously these two aren't the brightest lights in the chandelier. They fake a robbery by "accidentally" leaving the security tape out?
I'd have gotten someone (ask Patty's son if he isn't busy) to put on a ski mask and walk in with a fake gun and "rob" me at gunpoint. I hand him all the money and we split it up later. Leaving out the tape was just a huge red flag. Quote:

=====Would you feel that way if you owned the gas station and it was your money she took?=====
That's why they don't put the victims on the jury. Would you feel the same way if she was your Mom? |

======Why not simply shoot her, even if she is innocent? This would be just as effective at solving your perceived problem=====
What kind of country do you live in, where one-percent of all adults deserve to be either imprisoned or shot? That's not the country I live in. I've never even been in a country where the people are that bad. |

Geez, pop-up trailers don't have sewage or showers. I am assuming that she found other accomodations for her teenaged son.
Oh, wait, this was in Elon? That explains a lot. hairs. |

"""I wouldn't want my mother to go to prison, but if she broke the law I wouldn't much sympathy for her."""
---------- I bet your mom has broken many laws during her life-time. Do you think she ought to be punished to the full extent of the law for every one of them? When my mom was about 85, she forgot to renew the plates on her car. I had sympathy for her. If she had been a young black guy in a southern town, she'd have spent at least 30 days in jail for that, so don't say it's "not a serious crime". |

My mother died 21 years ago. To my knowledge, she never broke any laws other than traffic violations. Of course, she was white so I guess she was able to get away with many things a black person would have fried for.
Forgetting to renew your plates is a bit differant than robbing your employer. |

Heck, no. It's called "camping." Still, I'd rather not do it for more than a week. I suppose finding a nearby public restroom or Y could be an outlet for shower facilities, but that would be #2 on my priority list, right after finding food & water.
