Default Band Names

So, my band is going through some changes right now. New member influx, old members cutting ties, and above all, a new name. We are really at a stalemate when it comes to names right now, and our goal is to change our name by April 21st, the day of a big show we have coming up with The Pietasters (if anyone has heard of them). One band member is pushing the word "terra" into the band name. "Terra Vibes" or "Terra in Vibes" have been his suggestions. I really don't understand why, it could be easily misheard as "terror". TERRA-BILE My suggestions have been:

Live Vibe (pretty much says what it is, but sounds wierd when said)
Elysium (fancy word for paradise, sounds really nerdy though)
Seraphic Splines (seraphic means angelic, spline means, in a complicated sense, reality. So what I was trying to say was "angelic reality", but it sounds kinda complicated)

So far I feel like my ideas are really bad. Any band name suggestions?

Do you or one of your band members have a really cool street name. If so then you can name it after your street.

Stay away from names that are hard to pronounce (like that "E" name).

Beyond that, it really doesn't matter......

A man calls animal control to tell them 3 big dogs are running around his yard. The lady on the other end asks, "okay sir, what is your street name?" The man replies, "well...my friends call me Ice Man....?"

Sorry, I had to.

My band is having a tough time picking a name as well. We're going to be playing experimental ska-punk with a lot of humor in our songs so the idea's we've gone through have been things like Handheld Zombie Killers and Caturday...

Picking a band name is tricky. I'd say pick something funny, but if the majority of your songs aren't funny, that'd be a bad idea.

I'm sorry Rob, but we are no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We are on the verge of being called Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but for tonight we will be....Barry Jive and the Uptown 5.

Today I was hit with new ideas.

Jukebox Jive (A play off the old name, Andy and the Jivers)

Darby Chase (or Chase Darby. A street in my neighborhood back home haha)

I like those two far more than the ones I've had earlier. Also I came up with a good name for a folk band if anyone ever decides to start one: Wagon Wheel Blues

And KRS - if your looking for funny ska band names, I was once in a band called "The Skamosexuals". You're welcome to it, I found that name rather humorous.

And if anyones interested, my bands current website is www.myspace.com/andyandthejivers

Whoa now, you're playing with The Pietasters?! Lucky you.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the members are from right around my area.

"SLAG HEAP" Best band name EVUH.

Or "Granger Street". Where my grandparents lived in Granville OH. I wrote a song about it once, but it wasn't that good, or so I was told.
