Band Names - Page 2

regarding band names.. my buddies formed a band and called it nemo.. which meant "no one" in latin.. one of their first songs they wrote was about a dead goldfish..

which was cool and all until half a year later finding nemo comes out.. every time they played someone always had to shout "i found nemo..!"

they are now known as red team go!

My band is called Dr. Powerful. It's the stupidest name I could think of, but whatever. Rock and roll is about having fun, right?
I have a thing for stupid band names. Here are some others I have used/come up with/been mad that someone else came up with that I didn't:

Clown Panties
A Plan So Crazy It Just Might Work
Burgers
Swift Boat Veterans for Truth (this was going to be a good one. I wanted a band that would do everything to appear to have that early-80s, uninformed political punk aesthetic like Reagan Youth or Dead Kennedys but would really just be as dumb as possible. Sure enough, didn't go very far.)
Vincent Van Halen
JFKFC
The Nuclear Wessels (sorry, Star Trek IV reference)
