Greatest Living Ball player Game

CanesFan suggested a game thread, so I'm stealing one from TSB.

Basically, the way this works is I'm going to post a list of 25 living (retired) baseball players and we are going to determine who is the greatest livng ball player. For this game, I'm only going to list position players, pitchers should have their own game (if the game catches on). Also, I've made this list up off the top of my head. If you think I've left off a player deserving of consideration, we can add them in. Provied it is done before the first player is eliminated.

Here is how it works. Each player begins with 10 points. You vote by cutting and pasting the list into your post and adding a point to the player you find most dserving and subtracting a point from the one you find least deserving. When a player gets to 0, he is eliminated. When we get down to 5 players the negative vote will be raised to 2. Just to help speed things along.

Great idea bigheadache, I agree that this should stay here. BBQ needs all the traffic that it can get. I'll stay out of this, as I know next to nothing about BB. Worlds Series is about the only time I watch, or keep up with the National Pastime.
