Default Following the Olympics?

Are you paying as much attention to the Olympics as you usually did in the past?

I'm primarily following the basketball games, track, tennis, and women's beach volleyball, of course. I've also seen bits and pieces of swimming races, badminton matches, weightlifting, gymnastics and other random events.

This has been a very good Olympics. Nastia Liukin is a truly elegant gymnast, a refreshing break from the adorable moppets that are the standard fare. Bolt and Phelps have been fantastic. The aging female diver from the US team who just couldn't get it done was a good sympathy story. Dara Torres is an amazing human being; I really hope we don't find out she's chemically enhanced. The volleyball competition, both beach and regular, has been pretty exciting. And LoLo Jones' unexpected failure in the hurdles was a nice piece of sporting-world heartbreak.

I haven't paid much attention to the basketball, as having to endure both Kobe Bryant and Mike Krzyzewski is a bit more than I can stand. Other than that, it's been a great show.
