So I just watched The Bucket List and currently have an uncle who is dying from brain cancer. He isn't too worried about it though. As long as he has a Pepsi and a tv he is happy. This made me start thinking about my bucket list. I'm also interested in what other people have on their bucket list.
The Bucket List Graduate from NC State (spring of 2009) Get a real job Visit Washington DC Travel outside of North America (The British Isles Maybe?) Attend a FIFA World Cup Hot Air Balloon ride (October 16, 2008) Hang Gliding Golf at any Pinehurst Resort Course (two hours south of me) Last edited by Big 4 Country; 07-23-2008 at 08:47 PM. I did not just watch "The Bucket List", so I have no idea what you are talking about.

The bucket list is a list you make when you find out that you don't have much time left to live. You make a list of things you want to do before you die.

You are correct. I am not about to die, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't start sooner than later. The way I see it, you don't know when your time will come to an end and you can always continue to add more adventures to your bucket list. My mom always wanted to go sky diving, but never got the chance to. Me and my sister went one time and enjoyed it. When she asked about doing it in the future they told her she couldn't because of her bad back.

Spend a month traveling India and Southeast Asia
Complete 'The Bandit Run' (Atlanta to Texarkana and back) Attend home games for every team in the NL Central, NFC North, NHL Northeast Division (well, if need be I'll scratch off the Cincinnati Reds and Ottawa Senators, replace with Cowboys and Redskins) Marry a brown-eyed babe with an accounting degree Buy a house not necessarily in the country, but far enough away from suburbia you can't hear the effing freeway when outside. Get around to writing that novel |

I stopped by the Daytona speedway last week to just look around and they had the Richard Petty driving school going on. It was fun to just watch. I'm going to do that at some point.
Other things I'd like to do: Visit the pyramids Go to Austrailia Fly over the active volcano in Hawaii in a helicopter I'd also like to do the rafting through the Grand Canyon Drive the PCH in a Corvette convertible Geez. I need to get to work. |

There are a few people that I care about, who are going through difficult times. I guess the thing I would want most to do is to see them more at peace with themselves. Most of their problems are the kinds of things that money can fix, and I don't have enough of that to make an impact.
A lot of things I'd like to do are now problematic, owing to vision handicap, but thankfully, I have already done most of the kinds of things that are on other posted lists. Aside from that limiter, I'm pretty much free and able to do whatever I please, and if anything came to mind, I suppose I would go and do it. It's rather like the question What do you want for Christmas? My answer is that if I needed or wanted it, I'd already have it. I hope I die in my sleep. Too soon rather than too late.
