Default St. Patricks Day Parade Today In Philadelphia?

St. Patricks Day Parade a week and a day before St. Patricks Day?

Is it a money thing? Bar's in Philly would lose customers to the parade? Or an attempt to keep the Parade sober?

Where's the poll option of them keeping in accordance with Ireland's wishes to not celebrate St Patrick between Palm Sunday & Easter?

How about Savannah? They have one of the biggest celebrations in the country. It also lasts a week.

I'm having you flagged from every Irish bar in the world.

Not so freaking funny now.

Dude I'm as Irish as they come. And I'm likely right. Besides, I've already been thrown out of most Irish bars anyway.

Well, my university actually started celebrating St. Pat's last Monday (March 3rd), and in all likelihood won't quit until next Tuesday. So an early parade to me is no big thing as long as they keep the St. Pat's spirit alive til Tuesday.

On a side note, I love celebrating St. Pat's for two weeks!

Savannah is about 20% Irish. They'll have half a million people there for the parade. It is one of the craziest scenes you will ever see.
