Nah, it's going to take many years of Red Sox domination for them to take on the cloak of Baseball Big Brother. When you start hearing about Sox aura and mystique, that will be the sign. Then the hatred may begin.

The Giants have benched the vets and are playing mostly Septemeber call ups now, and they have suddenly won five in a row. Hopeful sign for next season, or tribute to the construction of a horrible '08 team?

The Astros sat down the vets and called up the kids last September and had a very good September. I'd like to say that was the basis for this year's success, but most of them were traded away during the Winter. Maybe the Giants can seel high.
