I can't peel most fruits or vegetables. Give me an apple, pear or potato, and forget it. I'll either cut my finger, leave too much skin on the food, or extract too much of the food.

I'll stick with Grandstander's question - what is some primary, ordinary task which you do not know how to do, and at this point, are too embarrassed to ask someone to show you how?

Being male, of course, the answer is "get back on the freeway going south".

More than I have time to count. I think I have 11 devices all wired into one another, each with an electrical plug and jackwires hooking it up to something else.

If this is Randy Johnson's last year, who will be the ugliest player in baseball in 2009?

At the risk of being called a racist, I'll go with Ezequiel Astacio.

Ezequiel Astacio - No. 39 of Baseball's Best Minor League Players - MLN FAB50 Baseball 2005 - Pitcher(P)(RHP) - Round Rock Express - Houston Astros - MLN Sports Zone - A Minor League News Magazine

Do you "liquor in the front" or "poker in the rear"?

No.

What are the top five reasons for keeping this thread alive?

Because sometimes you want to ask a question that does not have five answers
Or even 4
Or even 3
Or even 2
Or even one.

How long has it been since you paid a fine for an overdue book or video?

Well the Braves are breathing down their necks for 3rd place.

Q. Half way through the season, Chipper Jones is batting 394 and hurt. Which is more surprising?

It's never surprising when a .400 hitter falls below .400 as the season unfolds. Since 1941, anyway.

^^^ I guess you know Prine and Iris DeMent got bleeped on late night TV for singing that song in your sig. I don't think CBS liked the "big brass balls" line, or the "caught him once and he was sniffing my undies" line either.

Your question stands.

Every re-enactment I've ever been to they make homemade rootbeer. It is delish. I've never had birch beer.

Will Alex get shot by a Confederate while at the re-enactment? And do modern day re-enactors know how to do that Rebel Yell, that so frightened their Northern counterparts?

That depends on whether Ole Miss football fans are classified as modern re-enactors.
