That would have to be Bad Company, circa 1979. Yep, I'm old. There was this pretty girl named Ann. She liked Bad Company. I liked Ann. Therefore, I liked Bad Company. The concert was general admission and there was no seats on the floor. We had to be on the floor with everyone else. Next to us was this guy who was taking swigs from a vodka bottle and doing back flips. He was much more entertaining than Bad Company. Unfortunately, Ann thought the same thing. He got her number and pretty soon I was just another nice guy Ann used to know.

Q. What is the stupidest thing you've done for a girl?

Seems that it did. And I always welcome Angel losses.

Something that isn't made or sold any longer, which you would still buy if it was?

Yep, I've read everyone of them twice. Great reading when you're having trouble falling asleep, by the time you're half way down any one of the 10,000 pages, I'm sleeping like a baby

Why was Sugar in the worse bad mood ever, yesterday?

I have to have a reason? I just got to thinking about some of the things that I find annoying and pretty soon I was ready to bite the head off the first person who instigated one of those annoying things. (it happend to be a redneck buying $75 of useless lottery tickets in the gas station.)

If you obviously had no money, except to buy some kind of rot gut liquor and a lottery ticket would you expect the people behind you to be in a good mood when you finished your stupid transaction twenty min. later????????

I don't know. I cannot predict what I would expect if I were such a person. Now could I predict how easy it would be to piss off the people behind me.

No shockingly short trips for me, I've been good about thay sort of thing my whole life. My grandparents lived on the block behind us when I was a kid, and my mother would insist on firing up the car with full air conditioning and driving there whenever she went. I found it so absurd that I would refuse to ride in the car with her and always walked. It has stuck with me and I'm the sort who deliberately parks in the furthest spot from the stores space at the mall lot, just to add a bit of exercise walking.

Among all the stand up comics who have made it big (George Carlin/Lilly Tomlin big)...which one did you find the least funny? Why?

(I have the same parking strategy, but for different reasons. Mall traffic is total chaos, with cars coming from all points of the compass, drivers paying more attnetion to parking spaces than other moving cars, so I park as close as possible to the exit. Also, I once adopted the practice of never taking the 'best' spot, but saving it for someone who needs it worse than I do [which is almost everybody] if only to keep them from starting out *****y in my mall.) EDIT--how come you can say pissed off, but not *****y?

-----------

I never liked the Jewish comics on the Ed Sullivan show, like Jackie Mason. More recently, I guess Id have to say that guy who was in Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Moranis, or something.

Cheddar.

I also try to park further back. I always stayed away from the front of the Cancer building when I went for chemo. I never felt bad and had no trouble walking. I knew others could use the good spots more than me.

Ever miss a plane flight?

Yes. There was a luggage mix-up on a brief layover in Paris, and as a result, I missed the connecting flight to Spain. The people at Air France were extremely courteous and gave me a free ticket for a flight two days later, along with some coupons for free airport food and drinks. The missed flight allowed me to tour Paris for a couple days, so it worked out great as far as I'm concerned. I ended up hitting all the key spots, like La Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, etc.

What's the longest distance you've ever driven?

I've driven across the nation from Miami to San Francisco, took six days to do it. If you mean longest in one stretch without sleeping, I drove from Miami to Youngstown Ohio straight through, was there for 3.5 hours, and then hit the road again and drove from Youngstown to New Orleans stopping only for gas and snack food.

Has anyone else noticed how much better the A's are than the Angels and how unfair it is that the A's are 3.5 back rather than 7.5 games ahead of LA?
