Ben Hur would seem to lend itself more to the tortures of special effects filmmaking. GWTW is a soap opera and you could probably get away with a relatively low budget version on the Lifetime Channel. If they remade Ben Hur, you'd have the sea battle and the chariot race to play around with and the carnage factor could be made spectacular.

If you were the all supreme dictator of everything and could order all women to dress as they did in either the fifties, sixties, the seventies, the eighties or the nineties, which decade would you select and why?

I have never been huge fan of music and listen to the radio occasionally and don't own a stereo. I only turn it on in the car to listen to talk radio, usually sports as the intense right wingers on the air grate at my nerves.
