Are you close with your siblings?

I've always been close with my sister, and I'm closer now with my brother than I was when we were younger.

Who is the worst looking member of your family and what does he/she look like?

Because his current bosses are greedy.

In Northern New Mexico they had 4 feet of snow over the weekend. 6 people out snowmobiling on Friday were found today. Thankfully, all safe and in good shape. Now a two skiers and a some snowboarders have turned up missing. Do these people ever check a weather report?

I've long been an advocate of forcing people who indulge in dangerous outdoor recreations to have to put up a rescue deposit before they venture forth. Why should the rest of us have to underwrite the 20 thousand dollar search and rescue operation for a group that places themselves in harm's way because it is their idea of fun? I say they pay an advance deposit which gets returned if they are able to get back on their own. If we have to send out the helicopters and rangers to find them, then whatever the cost, it gets deducted from the deposit. If the search cost runs past the deposit, the serarch is called off. No deposit .. no search. Bet that would make them check the weather reports more carefully.

When you were a kid and imagined yourself winning the 7th game of the World Series with your heroics, were you hitting a homerun, striking out the last opposing batter, or scaling the fence to make an impossible catch?

Love is a rose but you better not pick it
It only grows when it's on the vine.
A handful of thorns and
you'll know you've missed it
You lose your love
when you say the word "mine".

Got good news today, ma's cancer is limited (has not spread through out her body) limited to her lungs. Still in for a long haul (chemo) but she should be around for a few more years

Never have.

Paul, glad to hear about your mom. Hope things go well. My brother is recovering from rectal cancer surgery and has begun chemo treatments. So far, so good.

Medically, what's the worst thing that you have personally dealt with?

I thought I ought to jump in on this thread, but what a question to start off. I think you know the worst medical thing I had to deal with. You were right there by my side helping me deal with the situation. I lost my wife about a year ago to cancer. Next to losing a child, I think it's the hardest thing a person could ever go through.

Are there any topics that have not been discussed on a BBIAC Q and A thread?

When i was a kid, my grandfather lived in an apartment building in Brooklyn, an old Italian woman who lived on his floor had a cat whose English translation of what she called it was "*****lips"....

So I can wear shorts and give the chicks a thrill.

Do you secretly wish, for whatever reason, your spouse was taller or shorter? Explain.
