No, you'd have to move the decimal over to the right two places.
Yemeni coffee is just from Yemen. If Yemen could ever market itself as well as Jamaica or Hawai'i it would be far more popular.

the expense of Jamaican and Hawaiin coffees has less to do with quality than marketing.

Bedir, Yes, I avoid starbucks like the plague. I prefer my 3.75 lattes to be done properly thanks. Stop being such a homer and admit Starbuck's does not serve a well made latte. Are they capable? Yes they are. Do they? No they don't. Even if your store is an exception,(and i actually would question that) that's all it is. I'm betting your folks are trained to serve the "company standard", which is NOT served properly. At least not the way I want my latte it's not. And it's not close. Vivace Cafe Diva Cafe D'Arte Uptown Cafe Ladro Torrefazione Italia (Yeah i know who owns it) Caffe Vita To name just a few. I only wish the folks here who've never been to one of these incredible espresso houses could simply experience the joy they serve. It is ethereal. There are other places like these in the US. But you really have to know where to look. And you really have to look...hard. For those that worship coffee, a trip to the Emerald City is a must. Seattle is the coffee Mecca. It's really that simple. Yes there are plenty of other cities that "get" coffee including San Francisco and Portland among others. But Seattle is definitely the quintessential American Coffee King. ![]() Last edited by Top Cat; January 29th, 2007 at 11:37 PM. |

Seattle only, though they were owned by an Atlanta based fast food franchising company for several years as part of the Seattle's Best Coffee division. When the fast food holding company wanted to sell SBC and Torrefazione Italia Starbucks bought them.
They were a high end artistry style coffee house that did very little to go business. A small market, but one which obviously TopCat prefers.
