Sky Sports | Football | Transfer Centre | Done Deal | Elmander makes Bolton move
Johan Elmander, the player originally thought to be replacing Nicolas Anelka at the Reebok during the January transfer window has signed a three-year deal at the Reebok for an undisclosed amount plus Daniel Braaten. As expected, this is believed to be the transfer that broke the club's record Transfer Fee (Anelka, £8Mil); however, the amount remains undisclosed. Bolton are still linked with a move for Lyon striker Milan Baros, which could strengthen their attacking options several fold with the new addition of Elmander. This is Megson's second (technically third, counting Jussi) summer signing and it has shown that Bolton are serious about securing their premier standing in the coming season. EDIT -- Just to follow up, Soccernet are reporting the fee at around £10 Million, which is obviously £2 Million beyond the record. It's still an undisclosed amount, but certainly expected to be in the range of 10-11 depending where you look. ESPNsoccernet - Europe - Bolton snap up Swede from Toulouse for £10m
