Default Jaaskelainen Decides to see out career at the Reebok

ESPNsoccernet - England - Jaaskelainen signs contract with Trotters

The best news I've heard since learning Campo had been dropped -- Jussi Jaaskelainen has signed a new 4-year contract with Bolton to remain until 2011/12, the date of his potential retirement from professional football.

I love this move as a Bolton fan, and I absolutely respect Jussi's decision to stay put, despite a particularly rough season. THANK YOU JUSSI!

Absolutely made my summer to read this (though I do now believe we'll be loosing Ali Al Habsi, who's a VERY solid keeper by all respects). Now tell me we've signed Johan Elmander or a striker of equal value and I'll damn well go singing in the streets.
