Sven to Mexico -- It'd be an interesting move for him, and it would certainly be a fantastic thing for Mexico. Mexico has some fantastic players, and with a coach like Sven they could truly develop into elite players. Something to seriously look for.

Amara Diane to Newcastle -- Well...I'm not sure on that one. PSG are obviously going to loose some of the talent with this years' showing, but Newcastle? I'll wait and watch on that one.

Dos Santos -- LOADS. He's a good player and worth quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he hit the pocketbook in a VERY large way for anyone wanting to pick him away from Barca.

Still looking at the three players released by Bolton yesterday...no movement there, but at least two of them will be decent free transfers for any team that wants them.

Here's a bit piece of news:

Sky Sports | Football | Ligue 1 | News | Elmander set for Toulouse exit

Johan Elmander, Bolton's original target for replacing Nicolas Anelka is now set to leave Toulouse, possibly for England. It's hard to say if Bolton are one of his targets or not, but mentioning England (alongside Spain and "a big club in France") COULD hint at a possible move to Bolton after all. Likewise, it could simply be his hope to join the likes of Chelsea or Man Utd a la Nicolas Anelka, where he would most likely wind up as a bench warmer.

Still, it's interesting news that could lead to something worthwhile.

So rumor from yahoo UK is that Seattle has made Henry a 5 Million Pound per year offer.

Aye, I saw the report; however, I can't confirm it with any other sources.

I suppose we'll find out a few days, though

I'd love to see him wearing the kit at the unveiling of our sponsor

While I'd love to see him in Seattle, I'll take that one with a grain of salt. I'm thinking he's much more likely to wind up back in the Premier League with somebody like Tottenham or some other team just on the fringe of the 'big four' than here.

He won't play for a London based club...

Here's an interesting piece of news -- Mark Schwarzer jumps ship from Middlesbrough to Fullham.

Interesting move, and one that certainly looks to strengthen the side. If they keep playing as well for Roy Hodgson as they have done, this could be a very interesting team to watch next year.

Yes, I saw that... Also Vela had his work permit approved so it is a done deal with him returning to Arsenal.

BIG day for the prem today.

Avram Grant gets fired, Fullham release eight players and everyone seems to be calling for more money to be spent on players.

The big news would have to be Fullham loosing Carlos Bocanegra (good news for the MLS, though, eh bedir?), Jari Litmanen, Ian Pierce, Philippe Christanval, Simon Elliot, Bjorn Runstrom, Ismael Ehui and Michael Timlin (and Paul Stalteri leaves after completing his loan spell). Not all were big impact players, true, but this certainly leaves a few holes that will need filling.

The Avram Grant firing wasn't entirely unexpected, so I don't consider that to be particularly big news...

Second place just isn't good enough anymore. Avram got a raw deal. I heard that Roman was embarrassed to have lost in Mother Russia.

McBride has announced that he will be leaving the Primiership entirely to return to MLS. Toronto is first in the allocations, but something usually gets worked out. Look at Chicago (his home town) or Colombus.

Boconerga is pricey, and probably not worth a DP (though if a team has two, he'd be a fine second).

Aye, the McBride announcement was a bit of a shocker, considering his heroic stature amongst the Cottagers' faithful. Very bit surprise!

The other big move has to be the Luke Moore switch from Aston Villa to West Brom for 3Million Pounds. Not a bad pickup for the club!

I'll have some definitive links to follow soon; however, it seems as though Man City will indeed pull off at least half of the Jo/Ronaldinho swoop they announced previously. Jo is expected to sign within 48 hours, and Ronaldinho is looking "positive" for City.

Very interesting news that will have profound impacts on the Premier League if they both come to fruition.

Well, there's not a whole lot of talking going on at the moment, so I thought I'd bring this up.

There are reports (and while I can't find it on Sky Sports' website, I did see it on the news program) that Joey Barton is set to join Bolton on a year-long loan. I'm dead set against this as a Bolton fan for two reasons -- 1.) Err...isn't he in jail just now. Won't he miss a good portion of said year because of that? 2.) He's a moronic player that is constantly getting into trouble on and off the pitch. He's shown signs of being a decent player when he wants to be; however, like a more extreme version of El Hadji Diouf, he has far more moments when he doesn't feel like doing anything but causing problems.

At least Dioufy's a good enough guy that you can find yourself liking him as a person. Barton's a down-right moron.

PLEASE SAY IT ISN'T SO!
