Real got really lucky. I watched most of the game and Real was pretty bad. Especially their defense (Helguera, Cannavaro) was struggling throughout the game. Carew was really impressive. I think he is underrated. Real would have won too, if van nistelrooy hadn't taken the pk (golden rule of not taking it after being fouled yourself).
Other games: nice upset for Celtic, great freekick. Arsenal was struggling vs HSV, who are basically a one-man team, but got through in the end. Milan is clearly no longer the team it was over the last years. |
