Default Kaka claims he was injured...

...against France in the World Cup quarter-final.

Not sure it would have changed much the result of the game, but interesting nonetheless.

He was been amazing this season though. Have you guys followed him lately?

He definitely played like he was injured. But then again, so was the rest of brazil

On an AC side note; Seedorf managed to talk his way into the dutch national team, using a 'charm offensive' in the media.

What do you mean by 'charm offensive'?

Basically he hinted in the media that van basten had been talking to him. Then he said he was still available (he hadnt been called up for over 2 years) and that he dreamed of returning in the squad. Caused a public debate on whether he should be selected or not

Basically van Basten gave in to the pressure in the media and selected him. Although i believe Seedorf should always be selected, as he is one of the best mids in the game, it does add to my doubts about van Basten. He made some really weird moves this summer (not selecting Huntelaar for WC, not selecting van Bommel and van Nistelrooy afterwards) and the team has been playing pretty crappy lately as well. But i guess that doesnt really matter as long as we qualify for EC08.
