I'm not going to post the images, nor will I post a link to the images, as they're particularly graphic and may not be appropriate to show. However, we've all heard about the injury, and most of us have seen it by now. So let's talk:
Is Eduardo Finished? Personally, I'd say no. He'll probably pull an Alan Smith and be back on the pitch for next season. That may be jumping the gun a bit, I'll admit, but he's already stated to the media that he intends to be back in action by the end of the year. I can only assume that means Calendar year, as there's just no way he'll be back this season. I don't think this will wind up ending his career, although I can certainly see it slowing him down a bit. It's a shame, as he's been on an incredible run of late, and he's turned out to be a fantastic player. At the very least, I would expect to see him back on the pitch, if not playing at full-speed. Share your thoughts!

This is one of the cases where I'm going to assume he doesn't return until he does. It was just brutal. Too often with dramatic injuries like this the player says that they are going to come back and they don't.
Here's to hoping that he can live a relatively normal life as a coach in the future.

Aye, I certainly hope he'll be able to get back to normal. He still seems to be under the impression that he'll be back playing normal football in the not-too-distant future.
It's good that he's positive, as that'll give him the drive he'll need, but I'm not quite seeing it...
