I like the Oilers well enough when they're not playing the Wild, but Edmonton never really had a huge following on fanhome; and as MNSOTA mentioned somewhere else the mass E-mail got put in people's bulk folders and I think its almost common practice to just delete those e-mails as junk before even looking at what got put your E-mailbox. Just a thought. GO WILD!!!

OilFans has always been the biggest Oiler board. HF has a pretty large but immature following. TheScoreboards doesnt seem too bad but there's not a real large group of posters.
Anyway, Im an Oiler fan & post on any board there seems to be interest in the Oil |

OilFans is great. HF might be the largest but it's mixed with really insightful and incredibly immature kids... I think it's their focus on being a 13+ user friendly environment (bad idea, imo). So I wonder if this forum has any real chance at ever restoring it's base.,.. with so much competition I doubt it. |

Justin's right to be skeptical. There are an expodential number of hockey boards now since Hockeyboards/fanhome merged with Scout (and killed the community).
But having a small, knowledgeable and loyal group is better than having an intollerably large, vocal and mixed group of posters and puckbunnies. |
