Tigers agreed to terms with RHP Fernando Rodney to a two-year, $2.7 million contract.

Rodney signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract with the Tigers on Tuesday. This will take him through his second year of arbitration. He'll make $1 million this year and $1.7 million in 2008. In addition, he can earn up to $500,000 annually in performance bonuses. They're probably based on games finished, so unless he takes over the closer's role, he shouldn't earn much more than the guaranteed amount.
