Arnott is day-to-day after suffering a bruised hand on Monday, when Nashville (2-1-0) defeated Chicago 3-2 in a shootout to spoil the Blackhawks' home opener. The Predators official Web site, though, reported that Arnott - tied for the team lead with two goals and second with four points - will sit out this contest and a home-and-home series with Columbus starting on Friday.

Comments:
  • This had better be a step up from the last meeting.
  • As stated previously, many bad things need to happen to Tootoo tonight.
  • Missed the 1st period
  • Saw the replays, though, Robidas' goal was great, and I disagree that Morrow was interfering with the goalie on the disallowed one. He was pushed in with no real chance to get away.
  • Finally, Brunnstrom is in the lineup!
  • Great goal by Mikey to start the second!
  • Preds pull back even, with yet more awkward bounces.
  • Brunnstrom scores in his debut!
  • Level again...
  • Bunnstrom with a second! Great job by him in his first match .
  • I wonder, how many have scored hat-tricks on their debut? It's not entirely out of the question tonight...
  • Onto the third...
  • I'm not going to argue the Erat goal, as it could have been over the line, and the call on the ice was initially for a goal, but it seems as though they need to review or revise the policy about going with the on-ice call if they want to get it right...
  • That's how you make a Debut -- Fabian Brunnstrom becomes just the third player in NHL history to record a hat-trick in his NHL debut!

Go Stars!
