Mattias Norstrom Announces Retirement
Stars' defenceman Norstrom announces retirement
After 903 NHL games spread between Los Angeles and Dallas, Mattias Norstrom has announced today that he is retiring from the NHL. Shame, as he was fitting in very well with Dallas; however, I believe this has more to do with his family situation than his hockey career. With his family back in Sweden, it seemed only natural that he would choose to be with them over anything else. Good luck to him, and I hope he has great success in whatever he does next!
