As Posted On Dallas Stars - The Official Web Site
Mike Modano has confirmed he will indeed return for his 19th NHL season next year, with the likelihood that he will see out his contract (which would bring him to 22 Seasons, age 40). Whether or not he'll do a Chelios remains to be seen; however, it's GREAT to know he'll be coming back again Now if only he, Zubbie, Jere and Barnes could turn off that whole aging thing and play forever, we'd be set...

Yeah, it's true. Still, he's adapted well to his current role on the checking line. Gets good space and still makes good plays. Seems like he's even got a bit of an edge in his game when he's playing next to Steve Ott or Joel Lundqvist. So, who know? He just might pull off a Chelios-like career.
