That's good for him! It shows he's being recognized as one of the more promising rookies in the league. I believe Mark Fistric is also up there in terms of his abilities, and hopefully he'll be given the chance to prove that soon.

Great job Nisky, and Good luck!

Totally agree WingsForDinner...where in the hell did that handle come from? LOL.. Niskanen has fit like a glove on the D compared to whats his name...Grossman...noticed he was pulled a couplel of times from zubov during the Sharks game for missed assignments.
Like the influence of the young men into the lineup, its about time the Stars go new blood somewhere along the line....their gonna need in the next few years.

Oh, I agree. They've got to start looking at younger players up front, too. It's good to see that they've got such talented youngsters on the back end, as it shows Dallas do have a future; but they truly need to start giving the youngsters down in Iowa a push. They've got Vojtec Polak, Perttu Lindgren and Marty Sertich that could be decent players at the NHL level, so it's not all bad; however, until they actually get their breaks, it's going to be the MikeyMo show ft. Ribeiro, Morrow and Mittens/Lehtinen.
