Default Do You want T.O. Back?

It's simple... Yes, or No?

Secondly, why?

I'll go first. Yes, a big huge YES.

Why? Because Tony Romo will thrive with two big targets in T.O. and Glenn.

How underwhelming is Glenn/Crayton/Hurd? When you look at:

Owens/Glenn/Crayton.

I say yes only because the Cowboys don't have enough talent to backfill Owens yet.

That said, I would bet money Owens won't be back. There was a good article in the Dallas Morning News that broke down Owen's season. One the plus side, he led the NFL in touchdown reception. But when looking at it closer, in only one game did his touchdown receptions matter. I realize that's a dubious statistic, but it is what it is. They then broke down the games that did matter ... and shocker, these were the game he was earning his "most dropped passes" record as well.

In the Seattle game, they reviewed many of the routes Owens was "running" and found he was rounding them off, not gaining separation, not making catches. He was largely a non-entity.

He's been weighed and measured. He doesn't come through in big games and is a huge distraction - especially for a new coach.

They might wait until after the draft to see what they can get at the position through the draft, but my guess is Owens is gone by end of May.

If Norv Turner is the coach,I'd say yes without a doubt,as I think he would see TO like Irvin.

Him and Todd Haley didn't get along,so he should be happier, with Haley going to the Cards.

He never had the best hands in the world, but with the finger injury he did drop more than usual.

Romo tended to get him more involved in the game right away, and they appeared to have some chemistry between them in terms of understanding each other.

Yeah why not....
Personally I am not a fan of him, but I think he can play.
With Parcells gone, it seems obvious he will come back because Jones expressed keeping him.

BTW..its very difficult to find a top wr, even though t.o. is a big headache

The other issue with Owens is that year two has always been the worst. How could it be worse than last year? Yikes.

I want TO back in Dallas, simply so that he isn't in Green Bay.
