Hall over Newman is very bad.I'd say Witten would make a better choice than Crumpler, but it's not unreasonable.I think Jason Ferguson could think he got partially snubbed as well
I haven't seen Larry Allen play this year, but it's good to see him named. |

This has a bit of flavor you see with baseball allstars from fans voting more on reputation. Williams had some big plays this year ... but not all have been for the betterment of his own team. I love the guy, but he's killed us several times this year. Much of the Saints successful game plan was built around his single dimension abilities as a player.
Newman needs to get his due. He was outstanding this year. I think Owens could easily be a pro-bowler with his production, but he did lead the league in dropped passes, too. He's a borderline call. But Newman was a miss. Good call on Ferguson. I've not noticed his name called often, but Dallas' run defense has been great and you clearly don't see the D-Line being pushed back. |

I thought TO deserved it more than Bolden, for that matter Terry Glenn. He's leading the league in TD's by a WR.While he never had the best hands,he's along playing with a finger that needs surgery,so that should explain some of the drops. It's more the media trying to generate some controversy out of some things, not to say TO is totally blameless.
Roy does have 8 turnovers (5 INT's + 3 fumbles) so he has a case for being there, but I'll agree that Adrian Wilson has played better overall. |
