This guy is looking like a huge, smart undrafted pick up by Parcells. Not only has he been amazing at returning kicks (26.8 YPR), he seems like he has a legitimate chance of becoming a pretty solid receiver with great size (6'4" -215) and amazing speed.

Yea, I recall seeing for the first time a few weeks back and wondered "who is this guy?" Where did he come from? Also, I've not seen him as a receiver just yet, but if he's got that kind of size and speed, its a good start.
By the way, I find I'm blown away everyweek by how hard Terry Glenn has played this year. He's fearless down the middle, never gives up on plays, is literally running a full speed from whistle to whistle on every play. I wonder if Owens has ever played alongside another receiver with that kind of work ethic? |

Man did he get lit up in one of those returns in Atlanta. But he bounced right back up. The best part was that he was flying thru the hole without regard to what might be waiting for him on the otherside. Occupational hazzard I guess.
Not only did he bounce up after the monster hit that loosened all his fillings, his very next return was great. Meanwhile its punt return by committee right now. Let's hope the musical chairs don't end up costing a key game. |
