It usually appears on the CE forum at the top... unlike all the others it is oversized... and when it appears it cuts off the thread tree and links at the top of the Fanhome page
just a FYI

I'm sorry I left for a while. I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |

Yeah, I've just seen the problem myself and will do what I can to remedy things. I think it's just bad code.

The ad situation is being remedied now. Google Ads replaced their code a while ago, I have not gone into the templates to replace the code until now.
This should fix things but that remains to be seen. Right now the banner ad is not showing up where it's been employed (it's a big white space in a few instances right now). It'll change with time I think as the Adsense spiders index FanHome.

The new code didn't work for several reasons. Meanwhile I put the old code back into place and it's working again but with the problems occasionally from ad blocks that are too large.
