I was just wondering waht people thought FanHome could do to get more posters going. FanHome is already a wonderful forum so I was just wondering what you guys thought they could do for other people to enjoy FanHome as much as us.
*FanHome is not asking the Question. It's just me a Poster. I am in no way relating this post to FanHome.

I agree with you habsfan, Fanhome is definetly a great forum. I think the enviroment on the site is great.
I think a way to get more posters is tell people you know about the site, and try to get them to post. You could also spread the word about fanhome to people on the internet, without spamming of course! Another thing that we could do, is just to keep posting. I know I've been off the site quite a while, but I am back now and it feels good.

I try to post but it almost feels boring on the Hockey side because not to many people post there. Start posting in Hockey Boys.

Arent advertisements expensive if you actually want people to see them.

Ads would also get more people to see the site, not necessarily to post

A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |

As a former Fanhome contributor who does not contribute much currently, I would like to list something that irritated me considerably.
There was a major software upgrade, perhaps Fanhome got taken overaround 2004. All accounts got reset, I was piqued by the fact that my posting history was reset to zero and I had to begin all over again. I felt a bit discarded. Twas a small thing, but it bugged me and contributed to my petering interest. I still visit the board, but lack the motivation to post. |
