I have this for the PS3 and have been totally impressed. This is a game that otheres can have fun watching, as much fun as watching a movie. The graphics are of that quality as is the storyline.
The puppeteering controls are a little more difficult than most, but as you ease into them they become intuitive. This franchise has legs. Plus when was the last time that a game made in North America had a nominal Muslim as a hero?

Just curious bedir, do you need a subscription to play PS3 online? Not familiar with it because I got a 360, but used to be a Playstation fan

I love their clues at the end to the greater franchise (my wife completed it before I did). The level of historical detail was quite good as well - the finest example being the Dome of the Rock being historically rendered (it looks different now).
While combat could occaissionally get frustrating for someone wanting more detail in the control system, I have found that it is a more appealing system for casual gamers. The story and graphics though are so good that people enjoy watching others play, and to me that is rather extraordinary.

I beat it twice. The combat is good, but the flow of the story with all the repetitive elements brought the overall experience down. It'll be interesting to see which time period AC2 will be set in given how well the combat works. The possibilities for anything before ~1900 are endless.

One of the biggest changes that would improve game play is to have the citizens be more unique. Less of the mindless saving of civilians or picking of pockets of obviously different citizens, but instead tracking and listening on nearly random individuals to find out details for the story.
