All that stuff is very complicated, RMF, with years and contracts and money and future players like Reynolds.

Good catchers are hard to find is all I can say. I had Barrett last year and I came in 2nd in my league, but it sounds way different than your sim league.

Should I dump Crosby for Betemit? I don't like it that Betemit is batting .061 and also that he bats 8th in the lineup. Still, Crosby got rested yesterday for Scutaro, since he is slumping.

My other choices are Jose Lopez of Seattle or JJ Hardy of Milwaukee to fill this MI position. Jack Wilson of Pittsburgh. He bats second as does Hardy, which is a place where runs get scored. I also could grab Uribe but he bats last and tends to swing for the fences all the time.

This is where I'm so greatful that there is fantasy baseball. The Rox again show they can't hit on the road. What else is new? Same old song. It gets tiring. A tradition of losing.

It's one thing to be shut down by Penny but the other night it was Tomko. Not every road pitcher we face is Bob Gibson.

Just once I'd like to get out of April with some Rockies optimism...and another snowstorm approaches
