How bout this.... had a 9 AM flight tomorrow to go back to FL and see the family.

Not happenin.

Best advice they could give.... "Just show up at the airport, try to get on a flight somewhere, then from there try to get to Florida." Yay.

I'll probably be in airports the next 30 hours or so. Tryin' to make it home for Christmas! Enjoy your holidays everyone.

My brother is visiting from Arizona. He's absolutely horrified by this weather. He is one of those people who insists that Colorado is a snow covered wasteland year round.

It took me 4 1/2 hrs to get from Aurora to Park Meadows and back, while I was rescueing the wife...

TIR, If you can, you should show up for your flight. The Airlines announced they were going to honor seats on flights, and the "stranded" were going to take any empty seats available. But with the Holidays, most seats are already sold...

Good luck and enjoy Florida.

The hardest part of delivering mail in Aurora yesterday, after two days of no delivery, was getting OUT of the postal parking lot! Unbelieveably they did not do anything around the postal vehicles. No snow removal until we got there Friday morning! Their response? We had nowhere to put the snow! And suddenly on Friday morning they did???

Was Monfort running the snow removal operation too?

Then the 1.5 hour wait at Goodyear to get chains on, which inevitably break.

"It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year..." (sing it)

Newman, I have to admit that I clicked on this thread largely because I wanted to see whether you had found a way to tie the blizzard to a perceived failure on the part of the front office or ownership.

I'm absolutely delighted that you've done exactly that! Bravo!

Much like the Jello of the Month Club, you are the gift that keeps on giving, the whole year through!
