I think it's actually a $2.5 million deal, not that that's much better. I can't imagine Joe Table having much success in his return to the AL...

Wow, that's just amazing to me.
$2.5 million ... again? I wonder why Russ Springer "only" got $1.75. Sounds like a bargain to me. This is one case in which you won't get any complaints from me about the Rockies being cheapskates. You will, however, get another reminder from me about that other mediocre slightly-above-replacement-level pitcher we let go who just signed a minor league deal with the Giants: David Cortes. I have a feeling that come April we'll wish we had another perfectly forgettable but not godawful pitcher like him around. |
