Default Week Two shakeups

The following top 25 teams lost this week

#9 VaTech @#2 LSU
#19 TCU @ #7 Texas
#11 Georgia hosting unranked South Carolina (now 2-0)
#17 Auburn hosting South Florida (now 2-0)
#22 Boise St @ Washington (now 2-0)

and plummetting Michigan got spanked by Oregon

There is going to be some movement in the Top25, some of it fairly major Are we seeing a greater level of parity?

And with the PAC-10 having a 13-3 record out of conference with wins over Tennessee, Michigan and Boise St is it going to start getting the respect it had in the early 90s with a recognition that it is a much deeper conference than USC and Cal?

Yep, football does exist outside of south and the midwest, about time we got some damn respect. And how about washington, they deserve to be ranked! And who is that LSU coach think he is, talking smack about there being no one in the Pac 10 for USC to go through . . last year they dominated Michigan and Nebraska and had trouble against the PAC10 teams of course (OSU, UCLA losses, close games against Wazzu and Washington). As if that crappy Va Tech team was really quality opponent. And how about USF beating Auburn on the road. Tired of this Big 10 and SEC obsession.

RE: USF/Auburn and apologies for more Football south obsession... how STUPID is it for USA Today to rank Auburn ahead of USF (26/27) in this weeks poll? USF was also kept out of the AP poll but by a small margin (ranked 26th).

Watching the game, it was painful in some ways but it also reminded me of the Tampa Bay Bucs from ten years ago -- killer defense and squandered chances on offense.
