2007 Big Ten Tournament

My Bracket

(8) Michigan (20-11)
(9) Minnesota (9-21)

(7) Michigan St (21-10)
(10) Northwestern (13-17)

(6) Illinois (21-10)
(11) Penn St (11-18)

Michigan vs OSU
Purdue vs. Iowa
Mich St. Wisconsin
Illionis vs. Indiana

OSU vs. Purdue
Mich St. vs. Illionis

Winner- Ohio St., in a very close game

Michigan St. will be motivated and will come out flying, but I think OSU has a little too much.
However this late season push will earn the Spartans a tournament bid.
Wisconsin will play flat I think, and Michigan St. will win its 3rd and hopefully final meeting

Who do you people all have? I guess there is a Big Ten bias lol

I just have a hunch you could say....The series is even 1-1 for the season and Mich. St lost on a last second shot

I think the Badgers will come in over-confident, and Neitzel will be seeking revenge over his missed opportunity to win the game. By the way I'm an Illini fan.

Once again it may sound like I'm ripping on the Badgers, but I'm not really. I just don't think they will make it far in the Big 10 Tourney. Michigan St. is a team on the rise in my opinion, and I think if they make the big tourney will prove it. Izzo is a big game coach so he should have his team coached up

Well Ohio St. beat Michigan as I expected, this pretty much ended Michigan's tourney hopes....

Ohio St. however look like they are going to be tough to beat in the tourney and down the stretch, so I think they will get it done and win the Big 10 tourney, along with a 1 seed

Wisconsin downed Mich St.....I think the Spartans lost pretty much because Neitzel was horrible the first half and the beginning of the second. He had not points with 12 minutes remaining in the second half, but then Mich St. started playing a little better.

Purdue looked impressive in their win over Iowa, Landry was on fire

Wisconsin will either play Illionis or Indiana, and I think they have a good chance of being upset in my opinion

It will be interesting to see if Mich St. makes the tourney, but I am pretty sure they will

It's amazing to me how no matter what they do, Wisconsin gets no credit from you....did they disrespect Illinois in some way I wasn't aware of?

Looks like Illionois will probably lose to Indiana. Illinois is not playing good now and find themselves down by 8....rats
We can't knock down a shot, but we don't have a great team like we have had in the past
The Illini should make the tourney anyway, even if they are 22-11 I think,

By the way BMW it's not that I hate Wisconsin, I just don't like them. I think they are overated and without Alando Tucker they would be a very mediocre team. Maybe I'm kind of bitter that they stole Tucker from Lockport HS, and we didn't really even contest it. Anyway Tucker is a good player, but boy someone should teach him how to shoot free throws! In addition I just don't like some of the Wisconsin fans, I think they are rude and obnoxious in my opinion.

Interesting, considering I may be moving to Wisconsin in a few weeks, maybe I will get beat down!

Well that I can understand, in that, who does really like a rival teams fans and such. I would agree they have overachieved this year, however, the kind of team they would be without Alando Tucker is irrelevant because they have him, that would be like saying I think the Bears are overrated because without Brian Urlacher they would be a very mediocre team. Unfortunately for me, they have Brian Urlacher and are a very good team because of it. While Wisconsin has overachieved to be a top 4 team, they are still a very good basketball team, and all they have done this year is win a lot of games. That's my main point in all of this, is that you keep calling them overrated and picking them to get blown out by OSU and upset by MSU (twice after the initial upset) and ...so far they lost on a last second shot by 1 point to OSU on the road, and beat MSU both times...sooner or later, they have to be considered a very good basketball team.

Well Illinois won in overtime and they are for sure in now. A win over Wisconsin would help even more and I think Illinois can pull it off.

Anyone watching the Big 10 Title game?

Let me tell you the Big 10 just seems so boring, way more than it used to be

Watching the Wis/OSU game is putting me to sleep. There is so many misexecutions and inefficient play. Overall I dont think the Big 10 teams will fair well in the tourney, but maybe watch OSU

Mich St. is another team that has swager. Losing Butch has really costed Wisconsin and their chances of going deep in the tourney

Very sloppy game

How about that Oden....
What a stiff, he comes in and plays and does nothing. 2 fouls, that's all the stiff did, run into people.
His big NBA butt is just sitting on the bench, go figure

Wisconsin can't shoot for the life of them. Tucker ain't no player of the year, its clear Durant is....22 points in the 1st half against Kansas!

Anyway expect OSU to come out stong in the second

This game embarasses the Big 10! lol
