UW vs. Gonzaga

This game is basically for bragging rights and recruiting cred in the Pacific NorthWest. These two teams have a recent history of great regular seasons and slightly disappointing tournament performance. This is also the last time for a while that the two will clash.

The Huskies are ranked 8 and 13 with their undeafeted record. The 'Zags are 18/18 with their their losses being to Butler in the NIT and WSU at WSU.

Gonzaga needs every single win outside of conference where as the Huskies could likely afford a loss. This is a home game for the 'Zags.

This rivalry is more than just the best in a state, but really the best in a region that includes about a dozen NCAA Div I schools.

I was very impressed with the 'Zags when they beat my 'Heels. They're a smart team. I don't know anything about UW, though.

The Zags absolutely handled the Huskies. It was an embarrasment.
