Default Craig Robinson to Oregon State

Quote:
Oregon State is set to name Craig Robinson as its next men's basketball coach, according to the The Oregonian.

The school has scheduled a 7 p.m. (et) news conference to introduce Robinson, who had been the coach at Brown University.

Robinson, the brother-in-law of Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, piloted Brown to a second-place finish in the Ivy League this past season behind Cornell. He is 30-28 in two seasons with the Bears.

Wow, what a horrible hire for Oregon State. Ken Bone (Portland State head coach) was much more qualified than Criag Robinson.

I guess it can't hurt to take a roll of the dice. The Pac-10 is loaded, Oregon State will likely be in the cellar for a long time.
