Default Lopez twins

And no I don't mean J-lo's new twins!

How far do you think that the Lopez twins can carry Stanford? I have never seen them play before, up until the Marquette game and I was very impressed by both of them, especially by Robin. Whenever they weren't in the game Stanford played horrible. They are certainly NBA prospects, both of them.

They have a good chance of beating Texas if the Lopez twins have a big game. Texas is a team that is similar in many ways to Marquette.

Robin is dating Stanford's current most famous female coed, golf phenom Michelle Wie, although both have tried to keep things as quiet as possible. And whenever Brook decides to enter the NBA draft, he's projected as a top-five pick.

Both of them have announced intentions to go in the NBA draft:

Quote:
(UWIRE) STANFORD, Calif.—Seven-foot twins Brook and Robin Lopez came to the Farm together, and they will leave together.

Just three days removed from Stanford’s season-ending loss to Texas and a day before their 20th birthdays, the Lopez twins announced their decision on Monday to enter the NBA draft through a release sent by their mother, Deborah Ledford, to The Associated Press.

Robin could have benefited another season playing college ball, not sure if he's quite ready. Brook is in my opinion ready though.

For me I wonder how well they will do playing on seperate teams. Sure it might not be fair, but honestly I'm hoping they get the opportunity to do what the Sedin (sp?) brothers did in Vancounver BC on the Canucks.

They just may have a chance of playing together. Brook is supposed to be a top 5 pick and Robin a late first found pick. This one mock draft I read had Memphis picking third (pending the lottery results) and they had them taking Brook with that pick. Memphis also has a later first round pick, and they had Robin being selected in that spot.

That would be pretty interesting to see them play together, especially on a team like Memphis that needs to rebuild. They could build around these two guys.

The Oklahoma Sonics also have two first round picks. One very high (theirs) and the other very low (Spurs).

Lopez brothers with Durant/Jeff Green would even be a better combination than what Memphis has.
