I didn't see his outing today but by looking at the box score, 2 hits, 1 run in one inning of work it would appear that Lee still needs some work.

I do hope that they don't take the attitude they did with BP though. I think we can safely say though, and I hate to jinx things but......... If you are talking about a 3 man rotation come play offs it's clearly C.C., Carmona and Byrd.

Westbrook when you need a 4th. Laffey might do well in the long spot, Betencourt, Perez and go get a beer and hope Borowski can pull it off.

Speaking earlier of Lee not being happy, I wonder how thrilled he will be if they leave him off the post season roster?

How does one go from what he was in the past to the Lee of this year?

I got to say I was never a Cliff Lee fan.....I swear he had in the past beaned hitters because they had hit big off of him...

Thats just BS...

I was watching Drennan.....interesting comment he made....Umps are too quick to warn and eject pitchers for beaning.....

He thinks its far better to let the benches clear, and let the pitcher fear for his life

some team may beat the crap out of him before his gets there to rescue him.....and maybe even while their there....

I know one thing...I am certain Lee nailed a hitter because of what I said earlier, and even though he's on my team, I could have beat his ass....

Thats just punk baseball....
