Sabathia struck by line drive

Sabathia instinctively threw up his arms but was unable to shield himself from the hard shot off the bat of Toronto leadoff hitter Reed Johnson, who hit the left-hander's second pitch of the game.

The ball smashed into the outside of Sabathia's arm, above his wrist. X-rays were negative and he'll be re-evaluated on Thursday

Tough break for C.C. and the Indians. Reports state that it is unlikely he will start opening day now. Luckily the injury wasn't much more severe, its always brings to light the danger of being a pitcher when something like this happens....

Well, looks like the line drive hasn't really affect C.C. that much! He is 2-0 this season, and from watching him he is pitching better than ever.

He is one big boy! 6 foot 7, 290 lbs....

He is starting again Sunday against Jose Contreas, should be a good matchup!
