This is going to be a key inning for C.C. If he doesn't right the ship, the Tribe is staring down the barrel at 3-2, back to Boston.
And he promptly allows the first two runners to reach base. C.C. is a disaster waiting to happen... again! Not exactly a "salary charge", is it? ![]()

Carmona isn't on in Boston. How can two pitchers that pitched so well in the regular season be so bad in the post season?
That goes for Hafner also. For a majority of at bats he has been completely lost at the plate. Looks like he doesn't have a clue what to do with that stick in his hands. |

On the flip side, those Sox players all have a lot of hair -- and I'm not even considering Schilling's nose hair. Must be symbolic of their patience at the plate.
Certainly wanted to see a more effective Carmona today. ![]() |

Oh, dear....
Man, the Indians defense is in a terrible funk. Love that hitting Youkilis on the head with the toss in the rundown. Now, what??!! Ortiz "groundout to first," Garko's crap throw... It's still early, I guess, but this feels scripted (by Affleck, perhaps). Sox even the series at 3-3, Matsuzaka exonerates himself in Game 7 after the slight heat he's received from Boston papers by pitching a shutout. ![]() Last edited by Jim Potable; 10-20-2007 at 10:02 PM. |
