I don't think they do either. It's really a toss up on who appears on the mound. Clemens isn't the pitcher he once was but can still have a good start.

Westbrrok had some very good starts and some very so-so starts. just depends on who wants to pitch. I really would like to end it in NY though.

I REALLY like the Indians' chances at this point. I don't care if we lose the next two games, because we will have Sabathia waiting in Cleveland for Game 5. No matter how you spin it, the Indians are in control.

I wanted to welcome Cali Ed to the forum...sorry I missed the game thread....

My job has been way too demanding lately......

I think what many fail to realise is the power of Yankee stadium....The fans can be brutal....Intimidation is a factor....

I hate to see what comes about after the bug fiascal.....

Let us hope the good Jake shows Sunday night, as #1 said....Its hard to say whether he's made it over the hump yet....

Anyone slightly unhappy with Jhonny? Lots of people at work has been harping on him lately.....

Do you think its justified?

This loss shouldn't be alarming. It's a 5 game series and winning the first two is paying off now that we have to play the best lineup in baseball on the road. Worst case scenerio... go home for game 5 with C.C. on the mound. I don't think that sounds too bad at all!

Borowski was shaky again but on to Boston.

6-4 Indians 3 games to 1.

I had a class to teach! But my daughters kept me posted, and at the break I "watched" the bottom of the 9th. When I read "Abreu homers deep to right" (I think it was right), I nearly lost it! But then he retired the next two, and immediately I get two text messages: "WE WON! WE WON! WE BEAT THEM 6-4, AND NOW ONTO BOSTON!"

I couldn't believe it myself! Who'd'a thunk it at the beginning of the year? But now, yeah, I'm ready to believe we could even knock out the Bosox and go back to try to win the World Series.

P.S. Thanks for the welcome! I've come into this site before, but mostly to post on the soccer boards. I have a regular Indians "e-mail only" group I belong to, so do most of my "posting" with them. But I wanted to come in here (finally) during the play-offs. Thanks for the welcome.

It's great to share the joy with all Indians fans everywhere. Waaahooooo!
