Loved the group sign "Sorry LeBron, but Kenny is King!"

Why did we send Peralta on that? It wasn't hit deep to center. Easy pick up and throw to get Jhonny by a mile.

they wanted to gamble with two outs, can't really fault the 3rd base coach

it was just a perfect throw

And now Cabrera makes in 1-0 Yanks with a long HR. Down the line, but more clearly fair than last night's HR by Damon.

After a lead-off double and good piece of hitting by Blake to get the runner to 3rd, our 1-2 guys can't deliver. Great pitch by Pettitte on the outside corner. Thought it was more outside than the previous pitch, but when I slowed it down on replay, it clearly catches the outer edge of the plate.

But it's only 1-0 down.

After a lead-off single, a good bit of baserunning by Hafner. I think he startled Cano, who had to go to first, and he gets 2nd. Could be a big play.

Add note: Of course, it doesn't end up being a big play, because Pettitte gets Garko to ground out, then freezes Peralta.

Geez, the one thing I feared the most from Pettitte: one of our guys getting picked off! And at a crucial moment in the game.

But it's still only 1-0. And it's not like they have a clue about how to touch Carmona. Except for the poor pitch to Cabrera.

Fausto with one pitch away from a complete game shut out.

The Indians need to pull this one out for him in the 9th.

Game 3: Sun. Oct. 7 Yankee Stadium TBS - 6:30 p.m.

Pitching Matchup:

Jake Westbrook vs. Roger Clemens

I don't think the Yankees have as much of an advantage in the pitching matchup as they might think. Clemens has been shaky this year, and Westbrook put together a couple good looking starts down the stretch. Should be another good game.
