Post Cavs going in right direction . . . sort of

Happy days are here again. All is right with the Cavaliers after three straight home victories. The piercing fan chatter that questioned most of coach Mike Brown's moves is now down to a whisper. Complaints about the once-stale Cavs offense also have disappeared.

There are two games left before the All-Star break, and the Cavs suddenly are back on track after a lull that produced only three wins during an eight-game span. But on the insistence of LeBron James for a more up-tempo offense, combined with a change in the lineup that included Daniel "Boobie" Gibson as the starting point guard and more time for swing man Sasha Pavlovic, the Cavs have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference behind the Detroit Pistons.

A scout who works for an Eastern Conference team, who did not want to be identified by name, said the Cavs should continue to run, and the Cavs ran just in time.
